What is GSA?

GSA is a club dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming community for all students at Sehome High School. Students involved in the club are interested in educating themselves and other students about issues facing the LGBTQ community and ally building.

Who can join?

Like all clubs at Sehome High, ALL students with an interest in this club’s activities are welcome to participate as much as they can or want to. The purpose of this club is to welcome everyone!

When and where are the meetings?

Days: Wednesdays

Time: 2:30-3:15 or 3:30

Where: Room 125

Goals for this year:

1) Get together with other local GSAs

2) Get more organized – have roles and responsibilities

3) Put on our own events

Ideas: movie nights, pride day, Day of Silence

4) Go to local LGTBQ events as a club

5) Fundraising

6) Sehome hallway bulletin board – keep it “fresh” and up-to-date; advertise community LGTBQ events
