Mon., 11/23 Due:  Lab Write-up for Identifying Important Biomolecules;  Work on your CSP;  


In Class:  Stamp Completed Lab Write-ups;  Protein Lecture;  Finish Molecular Models (build and connect 2 amino acids with peptide bond);  Prep for Unknown Quiz on Tues.
Tues. 11/24 Due:  Prep for Unknown Biomolecule Lab Quiz;  Bring all Chem Unit papers to class;  Study Chem material for Entry Quiz
40 min. periods;  BJTAC Assembly In Class:  Entry Quiz  (Do you know what you should know at this stage of the Chem Unit??);   Unknown Lab Quiz(no notes, only your partner);  Assemble Lab Packet material
Guest Speaker EC Tomorrow is your LAST OPPORTUNITY to turn in your paragraph (at least 1/2 page) discussing (elaborating on) 3 things you learned from guest speaker, Michael Short.  
Wed.., 11/25 Due: Read pgs. 37, 80 & 81 (Important!!)
Early Release Day In Class:  Issue and begin Enzyme WS (due Monday)
Thurs. - Sun. We hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and complete your Enzyme WS
Mon., 11/30 Due:  Complete Enzyme WS using pgs. 37, 80-81

In Class:  Enzyme Lecture;  Hand out Salivary Amylase Lab Instructions
Tues./Wed.., 12/1-12/2 Due:  Read Salivary Amylase Lab;  Brush your teeth or rinse mouth well before class (Those testing positive for sugar will have to make up this lab in Open Lab (about 1.5 hours)

In Class:     Complete  PreLab;  Discuss Lab Tips;  Test spitters for sugar and Complete Salivary Amylase Lab
Thurs., 12/3 Due:  Salivary Amylase Lab Write-up and all packet materials

In Class:  Assemble and turn in Chem Unit Lab Packets;  Practice Quiz
